Mika Krstic is a Los Angeles based film and tv composer. Originally from Europe, Mika was raised in a musical family in an environment that nurtured his outstanding musical potential. At the age of two, Mika started violin and piano lessons. Mika comes from a long line of professional musicians. His great-grandfather was a violinist. His grandfather was a world renowned conductor/director of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and of the national choir as well as a successful TV and motion picture composer. Mika's father is one of the top jazz pianists in Europe and a professor of jazz history.
At the age of fifteen Mika was chosen as one of the top ten finalist in the world's leading violin competition, the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition. Also at the age of fifteen he was invited to the Manhattan School of Music. He went on to study at the Academy of Music, Belgrade, where he earned a masters degree in classical violin. He also studied at the Conservatory van Amsterdam where he earned a master's degree in jazz piano.
In Europe, Mika scored three movie soundtracks and produced nine albums. He currently works for Warner Bros/Telepictures composing music for the Tyra Show, Judge Pirro, Beyond Twisted, Extra TV, The Bachelorette and TMZ.
He is currently scoring his eighth full feature film "Paradox Alice."
